This is a fun and easy recipe to do, all you need is just Oreo and candy melts or chocolate. To yr preference, they make last minute edible gifts too!

OREO POP

Ingredients:

*This serving makes 72 Oreo pops

Double stuffed Oreo (6 Packets)
Sprinkles (for decoration)
1KG Coacoa compound (any flavor you desire)
              OR
1KG Candy melts (any flavor you desire)

Ice cream sticks

For packing:
7.5 x 10cm plastic wrapper (optional)
Twist ties

Instruction:

1. Stick the ice cream stick into the Oreo which will kinda look like this
2. you can place them in the freezer while you melt the chocolate (optional)
3. Get ready a double boiler to melt the chocolate or candy melts of your choice.
4. Put it on low heat cause you do not want to heat your chocolate at too high temperature as it will ruin the properties.

* If you have a food thermometer the optimal temperature to heat the chocolate to is 80 degree Celsius.

5. Once the it has fully melted wait for it to cool down a little, it will thicken a little that is when it is ready to start dipping the Oreo.
6. Dip the Oreo into the melted chocolate or candy melts, immediately add the sprinkles if desired.
It should look something like this
7. For the chocolate to harden faster you can place it in the freezer for 5 minutes.

* No longer then that as you want to avoid water condensation

8. Then you can move on to packing then into the plastic wrapping as gifts
                                                         OR
9. Keep them in a air tight container for self consumption:)

Homemade Popsicle

First of all Popsicle make a great snack and making them is also super simple you just need some juices and a measuring cup as well as a Popsicle holder. Of course not to forget a freezer to freeze.

This is a Popsicle holder I used to make

Lets start off with my countries local flavor:

Bundung (Rose syrup) Flavored

Ingredients:
1 part heavy whipping cram
1 teaspoon OR Tablespoon rose syrup (p.s. Tablespoon is damn sweet)
2 parts milk

Be sure to mix properly...Put is freezer minimum 8 hours!

Milo Flavored

Ingiredients:

1 part heavy whipping cream
2 parts 3 in 1 Milo mixture (100mls ~150ml)

OR
Normal Milo powder w/ ondensed milk (100mls~150mls)

Depend how chocolaty you want you can add more Milo powder if desired

Tips on making Popsicle:

If you do not have a holder for the Popsicle no worries, you can use a Styrofoam cup or a normal glass cup. So it would look something like the  the Milo Popsicle above.

The steps are the same just pour the ingredient into the cup with the correct measurements, as for the stick wrap the top of the cup with aluminium foil as shown on the picture below.

Then use a Chopstick OR Ice Cream stick to poke a hole in the middle of the aluminium foil, then put it in the freezer to freeze.

Storing and packing tips:

For me I made this as a gift so I packed it in pretty wrappers.

For own consumption store in cool dry place in air tight container, however, in SG can get  quite hot you may want to keep it in the fridge if it ever start to melt.
